QSF - Miroflex glassless mirror panels are very flexible and almost unbreakable.
They are used in scenography or for other applications where, for safety reasons, the use glass is not allowed.
They are mainly used to create deforming mirrors and for distorted reflection effects, although if fixed on a rigid support in an appropriate way they can provide a mirror effect with minimized distortions.
However, for a traditional mirroring effect, the
QSR - Miroplan mirroring plates are recommended or, for maximum quality, the
QST - Mirocryl plates.
The reduced thickness of the sheets allows
thermoforming them or
cropping them with relative ease.
The sheets can be fixed on rigid supports with silicones without solvents or vinyl adhesives.
Or by means of double-sided
VBI - Bia Tape (
VBG - Bire Tape when a higher adhesive power is required).
The flexibility of the sheets allows them to be rolled up and shipped in special protective boxes of limited size, which facilitate transport and reduce the freight.
