AJT - Hessian jute is a fabric with coarse-grained plain-woven and slightly stiff in consistency, made with natural jute fibers, 100% biodegradable, with a more closed weft than the similar AJR - Rarola jute.
It was traditionally used in agriculture to make bags, packaging and covers.
In the theater, AJT - Hessian is used as a structured surface for sets and props, in particular as a support for the creation of scenes in which the appearance of the earth must be reproduced.
It's a rather inexpensive material.
