The neoclassical proscenium with the curtain and the valance in FTA - Tancredi 500 velvet, special color and lining in HSS - Shelter.They are decorated with NFR - Fringe and, the valance, with two golden NFI - Tassels and their making up philologically follows those of the previous curtain and valance.

The Teatro di corte is a historic theatre located in the complex of the Royal Palace of Monza which can accommodate approximately 120 spectators distributed between the stalls, the royal box and a gallery.

1806

The construction of the theatre begins, the project is by Luigi Canonica.

1808

Inauguration

1900

Following the regicide of Umberto I of Italy, the Savoy family abandons the Royal Villa and the theater is used as a warehouse.

1923 / 2024

The theater is gradually recovered and used for various cultural events.

2025

The restoration works put the stage back in a condition to be used and the theater fully regains its original intended use.
