TRANSPORT AND STORAGE
Standard packing
The whole rolls of film are shipped inside cardboard boxes.
The screens are folded in cardboard boxes, when their size allows that, otherwise in tailor made crates.
On demand the screens can be rolled up on a tube when their size allows it because of making and transport problems.
Rolled screens have a smooth surface since their installation, while folded screens need to be stretched for a certain time at a temperature of 20 / 24°C in order to recover a smooth surface.
It's absolutely needed to transport and store the backdrops maintaining the horizontal position with which they have been folded and to avoid their crushing.
Shipment
and storage
temperature
From 5°C to 30°C with relative humidity of less than 80%.
Keep away from direct sun light and from heat sources.
The vinyl is a thermosensitive material therefore it is necessary leave material reach its use temperature (20 / 24°C) for at least 24 hours before proceeding to the opening and the installation, particularly following air shipments, during which the vinyl film may have frozen.
In that case it is essential to wait for the film to recover to its use temperature, its handling at lower temperatures can cause irreversible damage.

INSTALLATION
Work in a clean place away from other works in progress.
Install the screen at the temperature of use (20 / 24°C) after having left it to rest for at least 24 hours at that temperature.
Pay attention to possible sharpened or cutting objects near the place of installation.
Make sure to have clean hands before handling the screen and touch the less possible its projection surface.
CLEANING
The place in which the screen is installed must reasonably be maintained clean and it has to avoid the accumulation of dust.
The screens can periodically be cleaned with a damp cloth, wet with water and a delicate detergent pressing it gently (the use of YPT - Cleanser for vinyl materials - P2 Peroni is recommended).
In any case don't use abrasive materials or aggressive chemical products like acids, bleach or solvents.
MAINTENANCE
Avoid exposure to sunlight; the optimal temperature for the use and correct conservation of the screens is 20 / 24°C.
Storage at temperatures close to or below 0°C may cause breakage of the seams or tension points of the screens.
Do not place the screen near sources of intense heat (spotlights, radiators or other).
Storage for prolonged periods at temperatures above 30°C, for example in overheated places due to the summer heat, can cause the adhesive finishes to detach and the film to decay due to exudation, with consequent stiffening, cracking and possible breakage.
However, excessive heat reduces the useful life of vinyl film proportionally to the temperature level and exposure time.
Avoid storing any objects in contact with screens, including Ties, the vinyl film absorbs inks and dyes and will be irreversibly damaged.
