It's difficult to find another scenographical case in which a Crossing curtain realized with LBE - Perolastic assumed figurative and symbolic meaning that was so functional to the text as it happens in this mini-installation that creates an essential, rigorous and suggestive stage context.
Galileo's reflections are developed inside a gigantic spyglass, a hemicycle realized with a Crossing curtain that separates the world of Pisa's astronomer from the outside.
A membrane that is permeable to the passage of four women only: the mother of Galileo, Julia Ammannati, his daughter Virginia, known by her monastic order as Sister Maria Celeste, his lover Marina Gamba, i.e. the mother of Virginia and the ruler that it will stay nearby him up to the end.
