CGO - Gobbi is a plain-woven light cloth made of fireproof cotton.
It has a soft consistency and it absorbs the light thanks to its plush finish of both faces.
It is also known as DekoMolton or Deco Molton.
It can be considered a lighter, less robust and cheaper version of COS - Oscurante fabric, its affordable price makes it suitable for covering large surfaces and stage elements.
It is used for draperies for temporary use and scenic backdrops when there is no need to totally obscure the lights behind them.
However, dark colours have a sufficient degree of opacity to light to reduce or eliminate the transparency of other fabrics, in fact CGO - Gobbi is often used to line them.
